Proud new owner of a PS3!!!
Well I finally bit the bullet and purchased the 40gb PS3! I traded in my 360 to make it a little cheaper. I kept my hardrive off the 360 though. My roomate still has a 360 so i can still finish out my live subscription (1 yr) and play with my friends. Anyways any good games that you PS3 owners suggest I should get? I already bought COD4: GOTY, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, GT% Prologue, and Resistance. Any other games you guys might suggest that are must haves?? Thanks!

To be honest, I wouldn't have traded in my 360 for a PS3. You will be pleased with your purchase right now, but when you start playing online and seeing how different and inferior it is to Xbox Live, you will want to come back. I was loving my PS3 at first because Warhawk was so fun. Then GTA IV came out then everyone was having fun on Xbox Live and no one talked on PSN.
Long boring story short...I wouldn't trade in my 360 for a PS3 until earlier Christmas time, latest next Spring.

Bad move in my opinion.. woulda kept the 360 i got both and my ps3 barely gets touched any more mostly bc of the shitty online.

I wouldn't call the PSN shitty like all of you are. The only difference that is identified is that people talk less online and that's not always a bad thing. I don't have to mute half the list in a match of players when I'm playing COD4. Besides, people not talking lets you actually focus on the game which is the whole point of playing a game online anyways, to enjoy online play, and not chitter chatter.

Rofl. That is not the only difference between Xbox Live and PSN. The chatter is just a small difference. Xbox Live is far superior to PSN...there is absolutely no denying that.

well you and dan both keep talking about people talking less and talk of it as if it's the main concern and if that is, then that's not much improvement over PSN. I played at my friend's house cod4 online and I didn't use the headset that day. The gameplay online was about the same. I can't see how Live is much superior.
