Yeah, well I have a SNES with wireless controllers. So yeah, Linux on the PS3 is worth it for me!

Thanks for the guide Jimmy. I never could get my wireless controller to work on YDL5 so hopefully this helps me out.

You might wanna upgrade to 6 first. I'm not sure if the packages you need to download to get it all to work will run on the 5 kernel.

Those particular downloads aren't available for Ubuntu, as such. But it might be possible to recompile them to run.

I am using 6 now. I havent tried installing the emulators yet though. Now that I see your tut on the controller I will give it a go tonight.

Can you save games?
I have the SNES emulator on my PSP and I like being able to save them and jumping in and out when I can.
Having it on a full TV wouldn't be such a bad thing.

Yeah, you can save games fine. You can also record gameplay videos with it or take snapshots of where you're up to if the game doesn't support saving in certain spots.
