I've only played MGS3 and I'm coping well with the story so far. I checked it up a few days ago though so that probably helped, but I've also barely scratched the surface so we'll see.
In MGS3 there were options for "only played mgs1/mgs2" for first time players. There's no option for that this time round so I'm guessing they've hopefully made it easier for players new to the series, but it also wouldn't be unexpected to find references to things that could confuse you. |

I think I might get Snake Eater and try out the Metal Gear series. Subsistence has all the MGS games in the package right? I wanted to get it but Snake eater is like 5 bucks used on half.com so I might get that.

I just got it. But were you wtf with the warnings in the begining during installation. I dont understand.

Omg, i played through quite a bit of the game, not loads but, I didnt save it cos i thought it autosaved  I'm such a fucking idiot. BUT, the funny thing is, I dont mind playing through it again cos, i fucking love it! haha
