Metal Gear Solid 4! General discussion.
Well, my brother's just gone and bought it, no idea when he'll get back. So, how is it? Did it live up to your expectations, or surpass them?

The game is pretty damn sweet. When you first put the game in your first reaction will be "WTF?" I will not spoil that moment for you but you will know what I am talking about lol.

As a man who was never an enormous fan of MGS series I would say it has well and truly surpassed all of my expectations.
Ignoring one of two little quibbles I would say it is near to perfect as far as any Next Gen game I have played on 360, PS3 and Wii.
It is truly a masterpeice!

So i guess you guys recommend me getting this. I want to hear some more reviews. My brother got the bundle. So i want to get his opinion because he usually is unbiased and lets me know if its worth buying or not.

Judging by how it look's, what people have said, and the amazing gameplay that is alway's evident in the MGS games, i'd say go for it! 
I'd hurry too...

If you've never played an MGS game, you think this would be way too hard/confusing to get into?

I haven't played them all, but i'm sure the developer will make it 'easy' to understand for the newcomer's to the series, he also said something about how he wants to expand his fanbase through MGS4.

I'm in the same crowd as you Mike. However I can only get so many games a year and I'm not sure if I want to gamble money onsomething I might not like.
