i think its got a bit better, but it still sucks wouldnt play it for fun !

I've kept it just in case it gets sorted, but its been sat on the shelf untouched since about a week after it was released.
I've even had dark thoughts about buying FIFA (shudders)...

dont get fifa 08. It is better than pes 2008 but Euro 2008, out this month, is much better than fifa 08 and pess 2008. Its basically between fifa 08 and pes 2008. Really good gameplay, best on a next gen football game yet, the graphics are amazing, and you can do your own goal celebrations, its well funny.
Download the ps3 or xbox 360 demo, you'll love it.
As for pes 2008, its crap, easy and yeah the lag is terrible. They have just released this game quickly this year and they dont even care about their customers, basically after this year and the look and gameplay on euro 2008, fifa 09 will piss all over pes.

I was playing Sunday, and the lag was so bad it was unplayable. I went for a tackle and by the time I got to his player, it had jumped to another part of the screen. Luckily I only lost 1-0 AET. I now only play it once in a blue moon when I want a change from Forza or COD4

It takes the fun out the game which for me is the reason its better than fifa. You get ridiculous refereeing decisions like stupid red cards for getting the ball, when you tackle a player they still some how keep it in their possesion, players look like there raving on acid at times there all over the place.
Hope they sort it out!
