The Official NFL Thread.

Well, it starts tonight. Whos watching? Whos your team? Whos going to the any of the games this season?

Discuss NFL football here.

I like the Giants. I tend to go to at least one game a year if I can. So far I've seen them play the Seahawks, the Chiefs (Tiki broke a running yards record, I believe), the Eagles (Best game), and the Jaguars. Not in order though.

Well, discuss football.

Was the Jags last year? I was there! We owned the giants! Amazing how we owned the good teams, but couldn't beat the shit of the league. We have a new OC and DC. So, hopefully the season will be better. Plus, we cut that big bubba(leftwhich). I'm hoping david can be a good qb!

No, it was a good 3-4 years ago. It was the first Giant game I went to. Then the Seahawks, then the Eagles (Nice rivalry game, 2nd row up at the 50 yardline, awesome seats.) and the Chiefs was the season before last. Just like every Giant game, it was freezing cold. But thats the fun.

My team is the Redskins, I think they could go 8-8 this year if Campbell does alright. I think their D will be as good as it was in '04 and '05, so if we have a decent offense we should win a good amount of games.

My order for the superbowl champions

1.Colts
2.Pats
3.Jaguars
4.Saints
5.Seahawks

Reasons :

The colts starters looked amazing, thats why they benched the starters after the first drive. No need to play them, they kept marching down the field over and over. If the defense holds up (tony dungy can make something out of nothing) he's a defense mastermind.

The pats, amazing defense. Not as strong with ty law and LM gone. Still, same situation with the colts. Bill is a mastermind, he can take nothing and make something.

QB - Brady : Never had a real WR and still hit 18-24 tds on average.
RB - Laurence Maroney : so far a talent back. Wish they kept Dillion
WR 1 - Moss, probably the best WR of all time. He has no balls, that's why I didn't say the best of all time. Rice is the best, he would take shots.
WR 2 - Stallsworth : Not many know about this talent kid, he's great.
WR 3 - Jackson : chad jackson is okay, he can catch.
WR 4 - Wes Walker : very very fast PR and KR
WR 5 - Kelly Washington : Another talent WR nobody knows about, when stallsworth was hurt at UT. This kid took over, had to fight for a scholarship.
WR 6 - Troy Brown : Old but can teach the younger WRS, can catch too.
TE - Ben Watson : great hands and great blocker
TE 2- Kyle brady : Very skilled blocker, but lacks hands. I should know, he couldn't catch a cold in jacksonville.

Good oline. I see this team scoring a lot of points this year if everything goes right!

Jaguars :

The best Defense in the league as of right now. The only team to never give up a first down on monday night and the fewest point scored! We added 2 hot talented rookies and the 7 guys that were hurt are fully healthy.

Qb - leftwhich is finely cut.

RB - The best RB trio in the league.

Taylor, drew jones and greg jones (fb)

Seahawks, if the team can stay healthy. I see them going deep in the playoffs.

Saints : Just WOW!!!

Qb : Drew Brees, glad to see him doing good. went through a lot of BS in San Diego.

RB : amazing, 2 backs switching. Having deuce for the middle and bush for the screen/ quick passes in the backfield amazing.

WR : They just drafted a hot young WR
They have colston
Henderson is good too.

Just the Defense is worrying me.

As much as I hate that team. I see good things for this year.

I told many people campbell is a talented qb at auburn. Portis is amazing, betts is a sweet 2nd back. The WR core is strong and a very strong defense. Campbell has brunell helping him, which dumbass del rio failed at doing with leftwich and look at leftwhich

I have to go with my team Chicago Bears as this years superbowl champs. We got a better defense than last year and our offense has really improved over last year. Grossman should have those butterflies out of his stomache now and should have a solid year. Our special teams is great and nobody can catch Devin Hester. We lost Thomas Jones but I think Cedric Benson is a better RB anyways.

Pats all the way to the bowl. If Brady can keep his social life and illigit out of the field when hes playing we will be fine this year.
