Well, it is arguable really. Jason Kidd is their best all around player, but their best scorer is Vince Carter

The way the Heat have been playing, the Celtics should dominate that game. However, DWade is back now!

Even with DWade, the Heat are a below-average team.
My team plays the Suns tonight. Not expecting a win there!

Trading for Kobe is going to be near impossible for ANY team. Actually, the Bulls are pretty much the only team that has enough young talent to do it. There was a story that Kobe Vetoed a trade to the Pistons yesterday that would have sent Rip Hamilton, Tayshawn Prince, and a 1st round draft pick to the Lakers for Kobe.
The Lakers were/are asking for WAY too much for Kobe, but then again it is understandable. They wanted Deng, Ben Gordon, Tyrus Thomas, and Joakim Noah. That is basically all their 1st round picks for the past 4 years. I want Kobe, but not at that price.

He wants to stay in LA, but he also wants to win a title. With the talent they have on that roster right now they have NO SHOT, especially since there are 4 or 5 teams in the Western Conference that are better (Spurs, Suns, Mavs, Rockets, and probably Jazz).
The Lakers are in a very bad spot really. They don't have enough talent outside of Kobe to win, nor do they have the talent to trade for the supporting cast that they need. To top it off they are asking way too much for Kobe in trade and can veto most of them anyways.
The Lakers are going to be stuck for a very long time unless they can sign a big name free agent.
