No way the Sun are gonna be unstoppable. They let Mike D'Antoni walk away, Shaq is obivously old and not himself anymore, and steve nash is getting old. They should have never traded away Shawn Marion for Shaq. As for the Mavs, they have a good coach in Rick Carlisle, but it's apparent that they aren't as good as they used to be and Jason Kidd isn't helping them much. The Rockets, if they remain healthy, will be in good shape to finally advance out of the first round this year. However I'm not sure how far they'll make in the Playoffs.

Since no one has said anything here for months, I'll just like say that the West is now the Rockets', Hornets', and Lakers' bitch since Artest now went to the Rockets. The East should be more intense this year since The Raptors has O'neal and Bosh down low, the sixers have Elton Brand, and the Heat got Beasley, Marion, and a healthy D-wade.

One thing that i learned from watching the NBA is that nothing is certain. This year's champions may prove to be next seasons biggest disappointment and viceversa.
There are also transfers and draft picks to be taken into consideration.
I can;t wait to see the Lakers and Celtics become stronger. I really enjoyed watching them play last season.

Even though the Lakers didn't win this season next season they will go big again.

They haven't really made any moves and a lot of teams have gotten better, I'd say they have a very slim chance if any.
I see these teams competing, in no specific order.
West - HOU, LAL, NO, SAS, PHX
East - BOS, DET, PHI (I'm not saying they're a contender, but they're top 3 in the East.)

Celtics probably wont' get stronger. They'll either stay the same or get weaker because Pierce, Allen, and Garnett aren't getting younger and they lost James Posey (or was it Eddie House? 1 of them). But of course they got the "best player on the planet" since Pierce thinks he's better than Kobe and is the best basketball player on Earth.

Yeah, that too. They are extremely good already. Their star players aged one year and they lost a role player.
