So, opening day was yesterday. And, HOW BOUT DEM BRAVES!?!? 4-1 to the defending world chumps!! D. Lowe with 8 shutout innings, 6 of 'em were 1-2-3!! This is our year!!

I know I've said it, and the rest of Chicago has said it before.... but in all seriousness, This is our Year! Go Cubs!

Sox game here in Chicago already got canceled today cause it snowed like 4 inches last night... in April! WTF is going on?

That sucks it got cancelled. This could be the Cubs' year, they've got a great team. Although, whats with Zambrano saying they should ditch Wrigley and build a new stadium? Blasphemy!!

I can't believe the play of D-Lo last night though. Fucking ridiculous! Plus the rook!! Jordan Schafer homer in 1st at-bat against the World Champs!! Could not imagine a better start to the year.

I know how Big Z feels. I've been in almost every part of Wrigley, its pretty nice for an 90 year old park. But its when they go to a brand new place make them a little jealous. Its a trade off though. Wrigley sold out every game last year. Avg about 41k fans a game. Not bad for an old park. Sox park hold about 45k and they cant ever fill it. People go for the atmosphere.

Yeah, Wrigley is an American landmark. You CAN NOT tear it or Fenway Park down. There would be riots in the streets.

There is nothing like going to Wrigleyville and having a few beers, then walking across the street into the Stadium. Then after the game walk right back in the bars for a night cap, then hopping on to the EL-Train back into the city.

I live in the far west burbs and I can make it to Wrigley with only driving 15 mins to the nearest train station. So great.

Yeah, Turner doesn't have that atmosphere at all. It's nice and all in the stadium but, none of the history is there. I still love it there though. So much better than the old Atlanta-Fulton Stadium was.
