Question on Lightsaber combat+ a few others
For the lightsaber combat, is it going to be a button masher? Or will it be some sort of dynamic analog control sorta thing? I'd really hate if it was just button mashing
Also from the videos the animations look really quick and quircky, rather than smooth and natural. Maybe it's just me, anyone else feel this way?

I don't think they are going to go to far into detail with the light saber because this game is more focused around the force. You will be able to combine the two but for just light saber skills i wouldn't expect too much.

I'd rather have good lightsaber combat than force abilities
Why does the guy hold his saber behidn his back? That really bugs me and looks lame.
Also from the game play vids, the sabers seem to be a typical button mashing attack stuff
I'd have loved to see some skilled parrying, but it looks like a MK game in multiplayer

Well the game is called the FORCE unleashed not the light saber unleashed so it would make sense to go more in depth with the force than with the light saber.

Yes but force abilities only go so far. It'd be boring if you just ran around with powers.
Lightsaber combat is more entertaining, in the movies, for instance, than when they use the force.

You know what, I'm not pleased with that either. Let's hope that the 360/ps3 versions are better than the wii one.

Just about everything that is Star Wars is about light sabers and little about the force. In this game they are going more into detail with the force. But yes the 360 version will most likely be button mashing for the light sabers but you can combine it with the force for good combos and so on.

Im more of a button masher in fighting games so it cool with that.

Then I'm passing. I hate button mashing, it's repetitive and stupid, and the lightsabers in this game are lame. You can't cut off limbs and it takes alot of hits to take people down.
