I just beat the game yesterday and went after vader for the dark side ending....anyone go after the emperor? what was the ending on that?

You sacrifice yourself to save the others.

You get stuck in this force power duel with Emperor(like when you have that spinning circle and you have to press Y and the proper moment). Anyways, you tell them to run, and then everything explodes. Darth Vader lives, the emperor lives and you are dead.

The dark side ending is so much better.

Haha that ending doesn't sound near as good...do you get a different costume with that ending because i'm still missing like 3 of them?

Yes, there is a costume unlocked by completing each ending.

apparently the emporer ending is alot easier but i found vaders ending so much easier. did it first attempt where as emporers i cant do. ill try when im not so tired.

but the good ending links in well with the origiank trilodgy.
The dark side ending completely ruins it cos vader is dead and your the emperors servent

There is fail here that words cannot express.

But this game lets you have some control over how it ends? I kind of liked that about KOTOR. How much does this one let you control things? Just a bit at the very end or are there multiple parts throughout the game?

The only control you have is at the end. It is not like Fable or Mass Effect where you can take multiple routes. The game is linear until the very end when you have that choice.

So the replay value is not very high since you just need to replay the last level to get the other ending that you didn't do. It will still give you the achievement too. You don't need to restart the whole game.

Both endings were crap, the light side one more than the dark side one.

At least if you are light side make it you can destroy the Emperor once and for all. If one ending can not fit in with the original story then keep the same with the other.

I thought the good ending sucked but the bad ending was great (even though it creeped the hell out of me). Went for the bad ending the first time because Vader pissed me off
