Star Wars: The Force Leashed!
Recently purchased Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and i was expecting big things from one of the most talked about Star Wars games since Knights of the Old Republic.
I easily completed it in 2 days on the regular difficulty, and i couldn't have been more disappointed. From the outside looking in, it does look like a very pretty and well-rendered game and it does have it's moments of good gameplay.
However with only 6 missions, 3 of which you're forced to be a Sith Apprentice, and 1 mission that makes you want to hurl your Xbox out of the window in a costly but understandable error (Destroying a Star Destroyer with Force Grip), it seems as though it is riding upon the hype of which it arrived. The storyline was average at best and the lightsabre battles were poor so i spent my time killing everyone with force Lightning and Grab. The camera angles were awkward and clumsy, and the foes were basic and too easy too destroy.
When in a major battle with another Jedi the only tactic you need to use is mash the X button until you win.
I do not mean to discourage people from buying this game, but personally i feel as though it was a tremendous disappointment and definately not worth the huge price-tag.
Please comment as I do enjoy a good discussion!

I downloaded the demo and hated it, so I avoided wasting any money on it.

yea, the first time i had to play that level it was tough, but i got it figured out...it definitely could have been handled a lot better, but I enjoyed the game a lot. Good story and it's fun as hell using the force.

I rented it, thought it was fun and worth the rent. Could have been better though, and it was only worth the one play through

i'll definitely buy it, because it's got a great story, probably the best Star Wars story to come along since the original trilogy (i love the prequels, but they DO have some major flaws) but i'll only buy when it comes down in price...no way is it worth $60.
