Multiplayer offline which Star Wars game to choose

HELP!!!

OK this is all very basic I am sure but I am a very frustrated mum with an even more annoyed kid who is desperate to play star wars games with his mate on the Xbox360 he has just blagged off his aunty!

Basically the boys couldn't get BattleFront to work for multiplayers off-line and before anyone mentions Xbox Live, we can't get Broadband yet... yes we hate BT with a passion...

Is this because Battlefront does not have this facility?
Is it because his friends version of Battlefront is old and there is a more up to date version - could there be a compatability issue?
Is it because we haven't got some sort of hardware upgrade that is needed, my sister has only used a couple of games on it - Fifa09 being one? It does have a 256MB memory unit, but only one.

If there is no chance of BattleFront working, which Star Wars game should I buy instead, bearing in mind the the boys are only 10?

Hope you can help, all this is making me feel really old and decrepit!!!

Well this worked (not)

but I persevered alone

and found that the problem was that the 360 elite that my sister won in a raffle whilst working for a gaming retailer didn't come with a hard drive...what a load of *****!

So I have now purchased a 120Gb HHD and I have a happy kid.

Thanks guys for all you help, it's great to know that those people in the world who spend their lives avoiding reality have got big hearts and generous natures.

For the first time ever I am thinking thank god I haven't got broadband because it means there is no chance of my kid (or husband) getting involved with xbox live.
