i think what makes this game hard for people is lack of playing in a tactical shooter. its a different approach to normal FPS games.
i have played all the R6 games on the PC and i played americas army a hell of a lot. that is one game i hope they beef up and put on the xbox 360.. cause that would rock big time.
i dont see a huge difference between the 2 game modes apart from they need less bullets to kill you and a shot gun kills one shot now.
apart from that the AI is the same and they still go down to easy even with out using 100% accurate shots. the aiming system in SP is way to easy. you can aim away from the bodys some times and still hit and kill in one shot.
and another useful tip for the Single players is have a close range and medium/ long range gun at all times.
try to have an assault rifle or sniper, if you prefer, at all times and have the 6x scope fitted. if you keep an eye out the terrorists drop them with scopes on as well.
ths scoped assault rifles are great in the areas with long range encounters.
the 2nd weapon is down to personal choice, i would opt for shotgun but the mp5 or other submachine guns are a great choice.
save your grenades for end encounters or parts where you get a mass spawns like when you get them fast rope in to your areas.
like some one already said b4 every room check the map for different entry points.
use your team on one and you on another.
if hostages are in the room use flash bangs or smoke and mark the targets using the snake cam that are closest to the hostages for your guys to take out.
although some parts are very hard at first encounter i have to admit this SP story mode not as hard as i would have liked. i wish they had another level of difficulty after realisitic...
i enjoy terrorist hunt as that is well hard at times. the AI is spot on and its nearly as fun as MP PVP.
i recommend terr hunt for any one wanting to brush up on their skills.
