hitman blood money

i just got xbox 360 for xmas, with ghost recon which is wicked, and hitman blood money. problem is that the xbox tells me that hitman wont accept pal 50 settings,.....only pal 60 and to goto the console settings and choose pal 60 etc etc.
the thing is that when i go to that screen it says it is set to widescreen and pal 60, so why wont this game work?

my tv is hd, and all the right connections are in the right places.....so why is the game teling me its pal 50 and the console telling me its pal 60? and why wont it work? ive updated it online btw!!!....................help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i cant totally remember but something like this happened to me, i think i had to put the hd settings back 480p and then you have the option to change it from 50hz-60hz once you have done this the change it back to 720p in the hd screen, dont forget the switch on the cable.
hope this helps has i said it was a while ago i had this problem.
