Rainbow Six: Vegas Co-op question

hey, if you want to play co-op in r6:vegas, does it have to be online? i am getting the game tomorrow and a friend wanted to come over to try the co-op out, so i was wondering if we would be able to do a mission or not? all i read about was that the co-op was online, and i didn't know if that meant you can't do co-op off of a single system or what...any answers would be appreciated thanks!

I can't confirm but there is an option for splitscreen.

yea, i read that too, i just don't quite know if they meant we could do co-op or not...still appreciate the reply, i am plannign on playing the split screen too, should be at least a little different than call of duty's deathmatches

i played co op online last night, you can either play the story line or you can play a terrorist hunt, also you level up as you go so its cool
