Mine crashed constantly one day on the game, which led to the demise of my console.

My xbox360 blew up 6 times, I won't give it 7th chance. I will just wait for next xbox generation and use bakcward compatibility to play halo 3 and those xbox360 games. I guess I am just gonna buy ps3 or wii this time.

I haven't played much online, but yes it did freeze once for me. I've been playing a lot of the single player, and that's been no issue for me, so this looks like an online only issue.

I've recently got my xbox and R6, been playing yesterday afternoon and today.
It's froze twice, both in whilst entering online games. It displays 'lobby' on the top left of the screen but a blank screen otherwise, I can still use the controller to bring up friends lists etc.
I "think" its when a host disconnects or crashes before the load up on the map/lobby. The second time it crashed my friend was hosting and when I came back he said he crashed *shrug*
I dunno... but no problems while playing story mode, single player hunt or multiplayer split screen hunt/story. Just online so far...

I am happy(?) to hear that there are not many people having freezing problem with story mode since I believe that the rainbow six focus on single player than multiplayer.
