That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard...

You unlock BETTER armor/weapons...

That helps your character allot, no?

You actually do not unlock better guns. Youjust unlock weapons...there is no master weapon in the game...it is all preferance. In fact, the pistol I just unlocked is weakier than the one I started off with.

You unlock armour. That's all. It isn't superior in any form whatsoever, that can be quite simply proved by looking at the 'mobility' and 'protection' bars when equipping your character. Someone using the armour he unlocked at say, Major, could just as well be actually less protected than someone who was Staff Sergeant depending on their selections. You don't get any advantage with later unlocked armour. The weapons are different, though. In saying that, most are unlocked at the beginning (as are the best, imho). As I said somewhere previously, the only weapons worth getting are the Deagle and the Spas.

i agree with your top paragraph... but i guess you got tired of reading when you read my post or something. Do you know what the words "most likely" mean?... figure that out then i will get back to you. Ok?

'Most likely'. That suggests to me that 8/10 you are claiming you'll win, so don't give me this rubbish about not reading your post correctly. You never mentioned whether you were exclusively talking about the members of this forum who play Rainbow, or whether you were talking about every God damn person in the entire world who plays it. Either way, you were inferring that you are one of the best players of the game. I suggest YOU either re-phrase your post if that's not what you meant, or else go back and strengthen your English language skills and find you what the words 'most likely' mean rather than questioning my lack of knowledge of them.

ya im only a specialist and when i play people say i should be higher than that because i kill all the high ranks with one of the originl weapons it doesnt matter what rank u are, it doesnt deterine skill, ive been seeing a lot of privates killing the higher ranks these days and thats not right

I happened to get into a Sharpshooter match last night with like 6 elites... when I saw the ranks I was like oh, great... hopefully these guys don't own me all game. It was an every man for himself sharpshooter match... by the end of the match I had 26 kills and 8 deaths. The nearest person behind me had 15 kills and 18 deaths. I was the lowest rank in the room... and when I returned to the room I said "WOW... You guys should boost more, it really does make you better..." and I got kicked. Shortly thereafter a guy sent me a message and asked me if I would play with him for a few matches to help him out. I met him in a private room on a sharpshooter match just me vs. him and I noticed his rank was........"Elite" . lol He was a good guy though, he was decent but you could tell that he hadn't played the game long enough to earn his rank.

Its literally impossible for anyone to be an elite already, since if u do it right it would take roughly a year to make elite (according to Half LifeFan)

Im just a sarge at the moment have nt boosted at all, hadnt played game for a couple of weeks as i bought Lost Planet and it has took me a while to get back into the controls and I have forgot most of the maps again!!
