graw 1 impossible on hardcore

ok i played the game on the normal setting and it was fun but not overly hard.
so i started over with hardcore.
training was fine, level 1 was fine, level 2 impossible

it starts with you in a chopper on the mini gun, the very second that i see contact (about 5 guys on the roof), i die.
even when im pre firing before i see them i die within a second of contact beggining.

has any1 gotten past the start of this mission?

the last bit i played on that game was the bit where the building blows up. couldnt get past it...........then GOW arrived and i aint touched GRAW since lol

I completed it on the second difficulty mode (the one with the red skull).

Its really not that bad. Just keep at it and you will get it.

well the problem is from the moment the first comes onto my periferal vision, its about 1 second till im dead. a single bullet always headshots me every time i try that section.
it just happens too fast for me to get a shot off.

5 targets all aiming at your head just isnt possible to beat it seems

I had a little trouble with this too initially. I found three things were important:

1) Don't deviate your aim too far, if you are stretching to shoot people outside the central view you are exposing too much of your unprotected body to the gunmen on the roof.

2) Always take out the people closest to you first. They are the one's who will kill you.

3) Fire in bursts. If you hold down the trigger too long, you will fire less rounds. Fire in short bursts and make sure that the gun level indicator stays on green. This also improves your accuracy as when you are firing the aim moves slower than when you are not, so if you are firing in bursts it is easier to aim at the next nearest gunman.

If you follow those three simple principles (and you can fire accurately) it is actually really easy and you should get through it no problem.

well a issue with those steps. i die too fast to even get the sight on the first enemy..
0 seconds, camera pans and starts to show enemy on the roof
1 second, im dead as 5 guys all headshot me.
i even tried pre firing right along the flight path so i saw my aim pass over the 1st guy noticed by the hud yet i die too fast to see if i hit him.

tried it another 3 times last night and just cant kill 5 targets in 1 second :-(
