question about live

is it me or it is extremely tedious to find a match that you can play. Most of the time i have to sit and wait 14 min for the game to end and then 50% of the time its no longer available. Is there any way to get into the game while im spec'in?

Anyone else have this problem?

i just follow a friend and wait or sumtimes i make one and invite friends...

Yeah i prefered the halo 2s matchmaking, plus the party system makes it easier to travel around with friends.
The matchmaking on games now is terrible, i hate waiting for people to join and wait in the middle (on gears of war) to get on the host team or check out everyones gamertags. etc...

It tells you the amount of time left in a match, just don't join matches with high times. Join games with 1-3 minutes left. Also make sure your playing "player match" games because "rank matches" are split up after every round.

play player matches instead of ranked

Do points earned in games work towards the same rank score (not ladder ranking, but player rank) regardless of whether you're playing ranked or player matches?
