tactics question for R6

if a enemy opens a door, can some1 on the otherside instantly close it on him (so they fight trying to open/close the door to block the path).

can C4 be shot to detonate it (unrealistic i know).

can shields withstand medium range nade blasts?and when do nades bounce off them if some1 chucks it directly at you?

Ok, if the door opens towards you, you can close the door again or just stand there and block the path. Although, you better be ready to die because most people will just chunk a grenade at the door and end your existance.

Yes, C4 Can be shot to detonate. It is extremely useful on the "Streets" map. Get a gopher to run and throw C4 next to the windows on the other teams base. The sit back with your rifle and wait for some noob to stick his head out. Shoot it and BADABING... Dead people.

Yes, Shields can absorb some grenade blasts. If you are wearing the heaviest armor you can absorb quite a bit of grenade damage but you are slow and cannot run from grenades so the shield is pretty much a no-no on live...

hmm ill have to try sometime and see how fast you can close the door ,maybe you can just hammer A and kinda keep the door in limbo opening a little then closing like on a lot of games.

gd tactic on the c4, i just thought given some realism aspects of this game that you wouldnt be able to detonate c4 by shooting it

Well, real C4 can detonate if shot *IF the detonator is hit. If you just hit the explosive itself, it will not detonate.

^^^Good info, thanks you sound like a pro, play a bit much I've only played Live a couple of times and the maps seem quite big, how's the learning curve on Live?

you can get from the spawn to the hot spots very fast, people seem to camp in the same place every time.
people nade spam a lot.
spawn camping happens a lot on calypso i think its called (keno room just gets nade spammed all the time)
im only a private at the moment but i tend to get around 15 kills per round of attack/defend.
i would do better but most players i come across are very high level and have the best weapons.

Its more like a learning cliff... than a curve. Basically if you are a nooby you will die. Alot. Until you can figure out your own playing style. I don't really play that much. I am only a Master Sergeant... I just pay attention.

c4 can blow up by shooting it but i think its better to detonate it and im not sure about the door thing
