Cheating in V6?

I'll be the first to admit I'm not the greatest at the game, but...

Does someone with higher rank/better armor really make that much difference? Me and a buddy were unloading in a sniper situation [probably 8 upperbody-head shots] and this guy would not go down. TWO shots from him later and we are both down.

I unload 3-4 shot burst to someones upper body/head in a surprise attack, they turn head-to-head and kill me in one shot. [my gun was MP7]

One time I saw someone throw a grenade and a dude jumped on top of a couch/chair off the ground and then back down. Maybe a glitch, but it looked deliberate....

In the Streets map: a guy was picking us off from a building on the side, and we couldn't ever see him. Someone on the mic said they were using a glitch in the building to cheat. True? Should you file a complaint if true?

Before you give me the standard "stop whining" answer......I know when I've just screwed up and a better player beat me. I'm just wondering if something is fishy sometimes.

i have seen players get onto roof tops via glitches, i have seen players take entire mags when they are still and they didnt die (but that could be a bit of lag going on)

I also get that feeling. Just the other day I snuck up behind some high rank and shot him point blank in the back of the head with the 870 shotty and he did not die. He did turn around and put one desert eagle round into my face though. The blood even splattered from his head when the shotty hit him. Its wierd I guess.. I think the higher ranks can take a bit more damage than others but a shotgun point blank to the back of the dome should flip everyones life switch...

The only difference is that you can select slightly better armour when of a higher rank...have you upgraded your armour when you go up a level???

You can also have better sniper guns which means you can get picked off...or try to change the scope on the gun you are useing for a rifle or 6x scope!!

There are glitch areas in almost every level that you can snipe from and not be seen at all, although players on the opposite team will pick up on this pretty quick when they track your bullets back to you.

As for the higher ranks not dying, it sounds like a serious case of lag to me. I play with two different clans and both have at least four Elites or high ranking officers. Sometimes we play against each other and they die just fine when I headshot them with any weapon.

i dont really think the armor from other ranks is better since stats.. it might be the way you have your armor built like i got 7 armor 3 moblity ..

In so far as lag, the guy was totally still in front of me, approached unnoticed from behind. He didn't start moving till 4-5 shot from me.....pow, I'm dead.

Is lag caused on my end, or the host?
I have a Netgear WGR614. Should I upgrade it, or will it suffice?

Played Team SS against a guy last night. He had 71 kills and 13 deaths in a 20 min. match.

The highest I had previously seen was like around 40 kills. It would take 3 of us pinning him with fire to bring him down.

Everyone thought something was "not right" about his *skills*.
