Technical Error

I have been playing your Tom Clancys Rainbow Six : Vegas for the past few weeks. Today, I completed the mission in the theatre where you have to attack the tangos using the turret whilst your team hacks the terrorists computer. I completed this, and the new goal came up saying 'extract to chopper'. So I began to find my way to the top of the building. However, on my way to this objective, I must have passed over a previous checkpoint - the small font saying 'saving progress' appeared on screen. I realised that something had gone wrong and decided to restart the previous checkpoint. This then took me back to the beginning of the 'Destroy the Terrorists Information Hub' mission. I completed the theatre part again and reached the computer - but it was already hacked from before, however, the mission objective is still to hack the computer. It seems like a technical error, do I advance to the roof and hope that the chopper is there and the missions are incorrect, or has the error messed up the rest of the game. I really want to be able to conplete the game and am dissapointed that this has occured. How can I solve it?

Try and hack the computer again. If that doesn't work, run to the roof and see if the chopper is there. Not much else I can tell you.

I'm having the exact same problem. When I try to hack the computer, the option doesn't come up (i.e. when I point my cursor at the comptuer, the "A" option for hacking the computer doesn't come up). When I try to get to the helicopter, there's a door that won't open that blocks my path.
