Should people be allowed to restrict weapons in RSV?

I think noobs who don't wanna get owned restrict weapons. I think they should update the game with no weapon retrictions what you think?

Yeah I think some people restrict those, probably have weaknesses in them, also if Vegas was updated with some patch that can make people not to kick you out all the time for no reason and making a rank match, a multiple match, that would be nice too!

Some of the weapons are lame.

If you don't like the weapon restrictions in place, leave the server.

No - absolutely not. You seem to be under the impression the reason weapons are restricted is that "noobs" don't wanna get owned, which is nonsense. Ironicly, the weapon most people ban is the XM auto shotgun - the lovely choice for all the noobs out there. GPS, whilst not a weapon, is understandably banned the majority of times. Others ban all shotguns because they don't want to be just get fired with one blast and die right away. others ban grenades because arguably there is no skill involved (which I don't agree with, partially). Besides, like Jason pointed out - leave the room if you don't like it. No-one makes you play.

I think someone's been getting their ass kicked since they couldn't use a restricted weapon.

I restrict the XM auto shotgun, the shield and GPS/Motion Sensors. It levels the playing field. If you don't like my setup, I'll happily show you the door.

Aren't you the same one that was pissing and moaning a while back that R6:V sucked major asshole?

No not yet, we're practising in that clan right now, but we're sure gotta a heck of a clan, and I still think that weapon ristrictions should be banned, maybe only the noob automatic pistol, but thats the only thing, the shotguns even though I'm not so good with them and I get pissed when I get killed by one, still should be unristricted, because every gun has, ups and downs, shotguns may kill you with one shot, but its only good at close range, but I had times when I stupid AI killed me (and it was after the latest pactch) from a freaking good distance, and that really pissed me off!

I used to be able to fire the Spas 12 from the Keno room to just outside the top of the back stairs. Though, I believe that was adjusted with the latest update.

My own personal opinion is that the XM should never have been included in the game in the first place. I hate it in the single player when the terrorists hit you with one round and you're dead, and I hate it in multiplayer when some noob who's getting tanked (or even higher ranks I've seen) have to resort to it in desperation.

Though, I'm a loss as to what the hell the "automatic pistol" is, given the fact that all the pistols are, er, automatic. That is, assuming you are getting confused with the XM.

When you do play matches on GameBattles, you'll find that in every single one the XM and GPS will be banned. Some ask to ban grenades as well, but ultimately the two clans have to agree I guess.

Ultimately, I believe you have a choice. You either choose to restrict the weapons or you don't. There is no "restricting the restrictions", that would only serve to drive people away from Xbox Live [in Rainbow].

It's simple really.
If you join a game that has (for instance) and auto shotgun restricted and you don't like it, leave.
I, for one, am sick and tired of people complaining when I restrict GPS on Sharpshooter games. I have come to just telling them to either like it or leave and if they continue to complain I boot them.
Simply put, if you don't the way people run their games, don't join.....
As for why this is done.
Sometimes I get sick of people not firing a single round but just throwing grenades everywhere, anyone can do this but shooting takes skill.
Also I sometimes like to play without GPS to ensure we get lots of shocking suprises when two enemies turn a corner and come face to face and poop themselves.....
All in all though it is personal choice and that is how Live is meant to be
