Experience w/ GRAW

So, I like shotting games and everything but I never got into Ghost Recon and my little brother went out and bought it when he finally got a 360 and I decided to borrow it and try it out one day. Possibly the least amount of fun i've ever had on a video game. It auto aims and it's just boring beyond belief..., I got through atleast 2 hours or so and just got sick of it. Why does everyone like the game so much? I just don't think it's really fun...

graw and graw2 are the some of the best games out for 360...and have u ever played a tactical shooter b4 maybe its jus that

I cant stand graw either. Especially online.. just the way the guys walk looks and feels terrible. I personally can't stand it.

Yeah, that's the way I feel about the gameplay it's just UGH when I play it. I have played Full Spectrum Warrior back in the day and it was ok but I am just not into that type of gameplay. Like in gears of war you can decide on certain ways to fight the opposing team (strategy) but it's fast paced where as GRAW feels soooooooo slow. I haven't played GRAW online so I don't know what that's like but I personally hate the game.

If I take the time to think about it I hate the game too.
The lack of control, the inability to rappel, no cover use in MP, crap grenade system and total lack of skill required to end a 1 hour territory with 180+ kills makes for a very unrealistic game.
But then I play it with a large group of friends on Co-Op campaign and it doesn't matter anymore as the whole experience of running from cover to cover, offering cover-fire while doing so and working as a team to complete objectives overrides all the shortfalls.
At times I wonder if the openness of the maps makes it better than R6 but they are two totally different animals so cannot really be judged beside each other,
So I will agree that it is poop...50% of the time

What a load of bullshit!!! The slow pace of GRAW is a little thing called realism and saying that there is very little strategy, yer having a laugh mate!!

I agree that the subject matter of GRAW2 is realistic but the implementation is not so.
Why can a man not use cover? How come bullets always find the head when you aim towards the upperside of the body even without the head directly targetted? You get shot and fall to the floor and 2 seconds later, witht he aid of a poke and prod by a colleague, you are up and running again?
Realism is nigh on impossible in games so I don't think this is something Graw should aspire to heavily to.
Only realistic game I have ever played? bushido Blade on the PSX. Get a sword wound to the arm and the arm is useless, take it to the leg adn you hobble.
I don't want realism in a shooter if it means one gunshot will incapacitate you so lets just agree it can be good fun yeah?

thats the point, it's suppose to be slow! it's not like halo where you run around w/ grenades and rocket launchers and the guy that gets hit w/ them is ok, it is suppose to be real life not a fantasy world

Sadly though, on Team Territory, I have been killed by players using the rocket and grenade launchers and, so much as I am dismayed by the fact they play it (as you say) like Halo, it is the way these kids play.
