Why do I keep getting disconnected?

When I used to play GRAW I never had any problems playing online. But recently (in the last month or so), in almost every single game I join I keep getting disconnected for one reason or another. This happens with Rainbow Six as well, except I get kicked. Why does this happen to me? Also, in Rainbow Six during the waiting room where players join in, next to your name there's some info about you. The last space has red, yellow and green dots. Everyone is either yellow or green. My dot is red. Is that my connection speed?

BTW, I have Optus cable Internet and I live in Australia.
Also, when I play GoW I don't have usually any problems. I'm suspecting maybe it's just the GRAW and Rainbow Six (Tom Clancy) Servers? Maybe they don't really put much bandwidth for Aussie servers? Anyone know for certain?

its not your connection speed its your connection to the host and most host dont want there room to go to shit so they think if one red dot is in there youll get booted. it also maybe your local if someone in cali joins a new york server that shit will have a shitty connection

How do you know someone's ping on GRAW? Only on RSV I could see red, yellow and green dots as ping.

Never played Vegas online before. I tried, but keep getting booted. It happens on GRAW as well. But don't know if it's coz I get booted. I just get disconnected from GRAW.

this happens to me every time im direct connected to my modem and search for games. i can join friends but cant search. i get kicked offline and have reset my modem

I just played my first game on RSV. My ping was again one red dot. But when I played the game it was perfectly smooth.

hmmmmmmmmm the red dot syndrome....I've heard a lot of various ways of reseting your ping? this trigger that trigger....etc....the only one that I have found to work is switching your controller on and off...and then...holding the left trigger down for 20 secs...BUT by then...you would've been kicked from the game anyhow....

Yeah, it seems I almost always have a red dot. Only very rarely I join in a game with a connection of 2 yellow dots. But when I host I get 3 green dots while EVERYONE else gets 1 red dot. Then everyone gets pissed and leaves.

When I played GRAW2, I always get the message "You have been ejected by server". And when I tried to host a game very few people joins. And if people did join, it would take ages before someone does. Anyone got any idea why this happens?
