Rubber band boosting.
Quote:
The first boosting method we will discuss is one that only requires a match to be setup and given a little push. Once it's underway, you can simply leave your Xbox 360 running as long as you want while you do something else like read a book, plant a tree, or sleep. The theory is quite simple, but takes a little sly thinking to get around one of the game's built in features designed to prevent this boost from taking place. You'll want to set up a game of Survival and invite at least one friend to join so the match can begin. Generally it's best to just setup standard Survival rather than Team Survival. This is because the game takes into account how balenced the teams are and it rewards more experience points to the team with fewer players while the team with more players isn't given as many points since they had the advantage.
Once you have your players in the match, you'll want to set the time limit at the maximum twenty-minutes in order to achieve the optimal experience points related to the length of the match. After that be sure to set the Time Between Rounds at 15 seconds and NOT unlimited. Otherwise the matches will never begin and they will just hang after the first round ends. Setting the time between rounds to 15 seconds will automatically start the next round after 15 seconds without anyone needed to tell it otherwise. This is what allows the participants to remain hands-free once they get the initial game going and walk away.
Here's where the most important part of this method comes into play. Ubisoft was pretty tricky in that if you simply got this far and let the match run for twenty minutes without playing and expected to get experience poiints, you would be dead wrong. Ubisoft has a feature in place that detects whether or not a player is idle or active. If the game determines a player was idle for the length of the match, they won't recieve any points. However, as slick as Ubisoft has tried to be to prevent us from getting our points, we are a bit more wily. In order to overcome the idle player barrier simply get a rubber band and wrap it around the two thumb sticks on your Xbox 360 controller. This will keep your charater in motion for the entire round and you will recieve all the points you've earned...or didn't earn depending on how you want to look at it.
Once the round comes to an end, each player will recieve 799 experience points for the round ending in a tie. After 15 seconds, another match will begin and twenty minutes later, you and any other participants will have another 799 experience points. This is a great way to boost your rank without having to actually play, but it does take a lot of time to build up your point count. For a quicker way to rank up that does require your active participation, let's discuss the "Countdown Boost."

EDIT : you get way more points for attack and defend, It's like 1599 defenders and 2099 attackers

in order to boost though, you will need a wired controller or play&charge kit w/ wireless controller.....b/c no matter what you do w/ the rubber band the wireless controller will goes off and the game will recognize you as an idle
i have tested the wireless idle theory in many ways: taping the L trig, and rubber band both stick....still it will goes off after 20 min
what's "countdown boost"?

Lol they call it boosting now? Back on Socom we called that rank up.
-By the way, what a worthless fucking way to kill your 360.

has anyone done this lately to see if it still works?
i tried to see if it actually works last night with a party of 3. I put survival, 20 rounds & minutes.... But here's the thing, when i put the dedicated server to [no], and go into [match settings] the option of [time between rounds] was not available. But when i put dedicated server [yes] the [time between rounds] option was available to put to 15 sec. but ofcoase, being a dedicaed server doesnt allow me to get into the game. Can anyone verify this?
