How to turn off throwback pack?

My friend has the throwback pack on graw2 and I don't. Therefore, He can't host a match for me to join, it says the player is using downloadable content that I dont have. So what, he's not using one of the throwback maps, why is this a problem?

Is there a way to turn off the throwback pack so that i can play when he hosts or what? It's bullshit if you can't, there should be a way to turn it off other than deleting it. Anyone?

Generally, outside of deleting, there is no 'off switch' for downloaded content. Either he deletes it from his hard drive, or he allows you to log his profile onto your console and you can 're-download' it as him to your harddrive. This is how I got my brother the Rainbow Six Red Pack.

^aren't DLC tied to the gamertag that bought them? As in it will download to his HDD, but will only work when YOU"RE signed in?

Depends I guess. The situation you described fits Guitar Hero II and the new pack for Crackdown, but all I did was redownload the Vegas Red Pack to my brother's 360 harddrive and he was able to log in and play the new maps.
