GRAW 2: Pros & Cons
Ok, im interested in buying GRAW 2 cause i haven't had a decent shooter in a while...i need USER input on the good and bad points of the game, not any website who are probably funded by the developers and will give a biased opinion. Main questions are as follows:
1. How many maps are there? Are the maps all as big as the ones on the original xbox?? And do people only play on about 3-4 maps and neglect the others?
2. How many assault rifles are in the game, and do people tend to pick the same guns, or is it pretty diverse?
3. Any Connection and/or Lag issues online?
4. Any glitches/cheap tactics people are ABUSING that will ruin the game for us true gamers??
5. I'm pretty sure there are some downloadable maps, how much do they run and are they REALLY worth it?
6. Can you switch the maps in game, or are you supposed to pre-select them as you do in Rainbow Vegas?
7. is the gameplay still slow kinda 'stealthy' like the older versions, or is it a little quicker?
that's pretty much it, thanks for even looking, and if u get a chance and own GOW, swing by the gears section and drop a lil knowledge over there for me too..

I have never played the first GRAW, but i bought GRAW2 the other day.
2. about 10, there are quite a few to choose from and people tend to use all diffrent ones. im still deciding which one i like best
3. No connection/lag problems inless its something to do with you.
4. Dont think there are any cheap tactics or clitches. im yet to see any
5. There are extra maps but you have to buy them off the marketplace and i havent done this and im not going to. i dont buy a game to find i have to pay more money for it.
6. once you start a game, you have to end the game so everyone goes back in to the lobby, then you can change the map.
7. You can rush round corners and hold your trigger down in this game, but most of the time it is stealthy. i find it best to hind behind a point where there enamy come out, stay prone and shoot them. seems to work great. its basicaly the first person to see the other one stays alive.

headquarters seems to be a pretty popular map cause its not too large and everyone meets in the middle of the map, its a fun map too. there are a few different assault rifles which are good, i like the M36 SAW(something like that anyway). the best thing i like about it is the fact you can have more than one person on the one console playing online, me and my mate play it online all the time and have heaps more fun with two of us working as a team

The stroy mode for this game is great but theres 2 downsides you lag out of online games easily and if you end the mission with your health in red then you strt the next mission liek that and you cant do anyhting about it....other than that the game is great

Just finished the SP campaign, and will try to answer a few Q's:
1) SP -->64 missions-->12 maps, MP-->18 maps.
can't compare them with GRAW because I'm not familiair with GRAW.
2) Assault rifles and submachine guns:
36K Carabine
A4 Rifle
AK 47
AK 74SU
AG A3
Cx4 Storm
Cx4 Storm SD
FAMAS
M468
M468 SD
M-556
MK 14 EBR
MP5A3 SD
MR-C
MR-C LW SD
P90/P90SD
Rx4 STorm
Rx4 Storm SD
SA-80
SCAR-H/SCAR-H SV
SCAR-L Carbine
SCAR-LCQC
SR-3
T-95
Note: Some mission intell can make you decide to switch from one weapon to the other. So take a little time for those decisions (based of course on the provided intell)
3) No probs
4) Always there, just pick up the right guys
5) Download consist of the 'old' maps of GRAW
6) No switching maps in game
7) It depends on...........yourself. Are you an agressive shooter, you probably rush in and do your job. If you want to let your team buddies or assigned support do the job, that's possible too. Just assign targets via the cross-com data link, and they attack those assigned targets.
Buddies/support are more selfthinking now, so they attack other targets as well.
It's probably better to do the "cycle": OODA
Observe
Orient
Decide
Act
Suc6!!!

Don't make that mistake. I love GRAW2, but it doesn't hold a candle to GoW.
