What the hell is this all about?

It came up on my screen today for the first time ever, and all my team's bullets shot like blue lasers, and the other team's red.

I'd presume it's some sort of mod for Rainbow, or an added mod for your Xbox?

I joined a ranked team sharpshooter game earlier today. The game had started about 10 seconds, when this huge f*ck off writing in red caps "GIJOHNDOE MODE IS ON" and went off again.

Any bullets I or my team fired after that weren't bullets, but blue bloody lasers. The other team's 'bullets' were red. The lag straight after it came up was unbelievable, the entire other team left but the host.

So...what is it, I ask? A mod?

Its a cheat code.

When you start a game. press Start hold down LB and press
LS, LS, A, RS, RS, B, LS, LS, X, RS, RS, Y

lol i came upon this in a ranked match just last night, it was crazy and i was confused. At first i didnt know what the hell happened, then the host explained it to me, but it was pretty cool, but kinda pointless.

its kinda cool, we did it the other night, especially on streets redux, can kinda help you work out where your being shot from.

i like it.

Alternate bullet tracer color
Pause game play in Single Player mode then hold LB and click Left Analog-stick(2), press A, click Right Analog-stick(2), press B, click Left Analog-stick(2), press X, click Right Analog-stick(2), press Y.

Big heads
Pause game play in Single Player mode then hold LB and press B, X, A, Y, click Left Analog-stick, press Y, A, X, B, click Right Analog-stick.

Third person view
Pause game play in Single Player mode then hold LB and press X, B, X, B, click Left Analog-stick(2), press Y, A, Y, A, click Right Analog-stick(2).
