Splinter Cell has a serious problem...
I just rented SC: DA today,played for a few hours. I gotta say this is one of the coolest mutiplayer games I've ever seen. The first 2 hours of play were just amazing for me.
But after a while,I started to realize something. Playing spies is amazing,but frankly,mercenaries suck. After playing spies for a bunxh of matches I finally got stuck in a match where the host forced me to play Merc,and that's when I realized it's awful!
The spies always win because they're so nimble,they can get on roof tops and under trucks. Mercenaries have a huge disadvantage and are boring to play. Because of this,no one wants to play merc,and then people will leave servers if they're forced to play merc.
It's a shame,this game could have been one of the best xbox live games to come out so far,but they worked too hard on the spies and just slapped on the mercenaries.

Never played the multiplayer mode. Was never interested in it.

lol double agent sucked online... if you want some FUN online play for any game or even a splinter cell game, play CHAOS THEORY... That game is probably at the top of my xbox live list.

yea it had really fun co op. double agent disappointed me so much. the SP was sooo stupid. you had to do the agency missions and it completely ruined the game for me

I used to play it online a bit but it gets quite boring you need to be very very very good to hunt down the spies. The noob ones are easy but there aren't that many.

I think multiplayer is absolutely awesome! It's just such a shame nobody ever goes on it and experiences it...

I got the full 1000 within 2 weeks at launch.
Mercs are good,just use gadgets and lots of teamwork.Know the maps and when a spy thinks hes gotten away from you, youll be able to smoke him easy.
Easy to rank up a spy if you know what you are doing.
Pm me and we can get online and ill give you a Merc tutorial.
