why get it?
i havn't played rainbow six vegas yet. i want to get it but im afraid that it will be like every other shooting game. what makes it so special? overall, buy it or not?

It's a nice mix of run & gun and tactical shooting. Better weapons as you increase in rank adds some motivation to keep on playing and if you get mature teammates there can be a pretty strong team element to it.

dont get R6V, its a good game but its time has passed- if you bought it a few months ago then fair enough but i wouldnt buy it at this stage

I think you can get it for like £20 now here, so at that price it's worth a punt. The game is one of my favourite FPS to date, and the online is great, although not as many people probably play online now given it's been out for nearly a year, and Halo arriving...

i would buy this game for the single player aspect alone. i didnt even play online & thought this game was brilliant

A LOT of people still play this game. I was just playing a few minutes ago and when I was searching for A/D games I saw at least 15 matches up there. Now count up all the other game modes and player matches. Comes out to a lot of people playing.
You should buy this game, but this game does grind people sometimes. It is very irritating when you get into a game full of stackers and bitchers.
