RSV 2 question and opinions

I was curious what people on the forum think about Vegas 2. I loved the first game and i most likely buy this game, purely because the first game was amazing. But i wanted to possibly get some opinions and wanted to know how much different (the goods and bads) this game is from the first one.

I loved the 1st one also and spent countless hours playing it. As for R6V2, right now I'm having mixed feelings on it. It has identical gameplay both online and off and it is once again in vegas... Woopie. This is where it is killing me, it is so much like the first one that it feels like you purchased a map pack. Mind you this is my opinion. That is both a good and bad thing. Good because hell, I loved Vegas and this is essentially it but with a new ranking system, bad because it has that groundhog day vibe going on. Esp when you play the old map. They have recycled the animations over to this one along with the music so that doesn't help the cause. If you were a fan of the first I definitely say go pick it up, you'll enjoy it. But I wouldn't expect a world of change. Sorry its short, heading out!

I LOVE IT!

People say that it is just an expansion pack...and thats what it is...and thats why I love it.They didn't fuck anything up by changing everything.

Rbsv is the only game I can stand the multiplayer for longer than a month, but then again I didn't play the first nearly as much as you since I got the game later so maybe I'll eventually get to being annoyed with this game...but I hope not.

this was wat i was worried about, it being too much like the first. but RSV was so good that i would try it again. are they any major improvements or new features

I guess the new ACES system is cool. It rewards you for certain actions really. Other then that I haven't found anything else. A few new sets of armor, accessories and guns. Definitely get it if you are a fan though, good times of course. I just wish they changed it up a bit. I wish they had a character creator not just preset options like last time. 90% of the characters have massive dents in their heads and all sorts of deformities. I made a chick for shits and giggles and started playing through single player, and they kept calling me sir and all that. Not enough love put into it. But like I said, pick it up for sure.

im trying to decide between this or a sports game, probably fifa 08 (because I havent got one and fancy a change)

I loved the first RSV but because its practically the same im thinking of buying fifa 08 instead. I could buy both but then I would feel bad about spending to much money on time wasting lol.
