RSV2 difficulty?
Hey everyone, I bought RSV1 Christmas last year and played the first few levels with a lot of frustration and decided it wasn't worth it to keep playing because it was so hard. I liked the gameplay and I'm interested in buying RSV2. Is it as hard as the first one or is it toned down even just a little bit?

i havnt played rsv1 but i play rsv2 on the hardest difficulty and to me it isnt that hard

You just have to slow everything down and can't try and play it like Halo or cod4 also a great way to make it easier is tto change the difficulty in settings

Yeah, it's a realistic shooter... So 2 or 3 shots and you're down. It' not like Halo where it literally takes a whole clip to take down the shields and then to drop em. Call of duty 4 is a little more realistic as far as how many bullets it takes to kill someone; but that game is still meant to be a run'n'gun, and isn't really realistic at all.
The cover system is there for a reason.

one of the best games i have played!! its just as good as COD4 but in different context you cant just shoot n run, but is very realistic, i play on medium difficulty and it only takes one wrong move and your dead but that to me is a good game, there are too many games out there that dont last that long cos they are so easy to complete, i like the extra challenge of having to think about your every move, guns are realistic too which helps, its a must have for anyone that likes FPS and TPS games (third and first person)
another game i really enjoyed was bioshock cant wait for no.2 thought assassins creed was a bit samey got bored in the end

first thing you need to do is go to your local gaming store and buy back RSV1, imo its pointless playing RSV2 without playing the first, granted the first level on RSV1 sucks but when you get into it its an awesome game, just stick at it buddy.
