COD 5 is possibly going back to WW2 *grrr*

Well i guess this is how it goes. Activision Decided that they wanted a new COD out every year. Infinity ward however, wants two years to make a new COD. so i guess treyarch will be making COD 5, but I.W. will be making COD 6, going back and forth for however long the series lasts.

and i know, its just a rumor, but google COD 5 and there are a ton of sources that say this. and for those who browse the xbox live forums, maybe you saw this thread. alot of people say the same thing.

EDIT: the title is supposed to say WW II. can a mod fix this for me? if not then i guess its explained here.

Yeah this news emerged pretty soon after COD4 was released. It's definitely a disappointment, particularly as the last COD game that Treyarch made was lame.

But I won't knock it 'til I've tried it. Who knows, it could go ahead and shock us all. We won't know until we've played it.

thats what i say. if i buy and like it then good. if not then i'll sell it to someone on ebay who doesn't know any better.

I personally enjoy the WWII versions better than CoD4, but that's just me.

i couldnt care less where its based, could be based on the isle of wight, and it wouldnt bother me, as long as the gameplays the same, but obviosly updated, and that they have good multiplayer levels. then im happy.
