Last good 'nam game i remember was Men of Valor for the original xbox. that was a good game.

I probably won't bother with COD5 if it's not modern.
I could never go back to WW2 weapons. Plus the main reason I bought COD4 was for the sniping and massive amount of customisation - silencers, red dot, ACOG, camo etc.

I agree. The last good one was Battlefield Vietnam. Maybe that should be 6 or 7

It's being made by Treyarch. By definition, it isn't a true Call of Duty game.

I liked Call of Duty 3 actually, but the graphics sucked compared to Call of Duty 2 and Call of Duty 4. I hate World War II games, actually. I don't want to be fighting Germans all the time. Something that could be good is to make a game from the perspective of a German or a Japanese soldier. Now that would be interesting.
