Because those games were made by different companies? Treyarch is sticking to WW2. As to what IW does I guess we'll have to wait and see.

The Treyarch games are just to fill the coffers while IW works on the real title. That's the impression I get. It's certainly how 3 and 4 worked.

Modern Day for me I think. How about the concept of US & UK vs Middle East and Far East.

I don't really dislike World War 2, but I want the games to be more creative. We need to shoot other people then just Germans in these games.

They could set it in the middle of Wales, it doesn't bother me.. I'll always buy the COD games like I do the GTA ones.
