I want a modern story about the world being on the brink of nuclear war. Now that would be fun for me.
I'm tired of going back in time. World War II is very interesting to me, but enough games about it already.

I don't mind it being back in WW2 and in Japan. I really hope they bring back in Vietnam and use the crysis engine. That would be crazy. Call of duty : Vietnam... I've yet played a decent Nam game. Hopefully Shellshock 2 will be good.

It pisses me off... Damn you Treyarch... I've played WWII games since the daipers (though that isn't long), and CoD4 was so new, it made it great.

See I SORT OF feel the same way. However, if you wanna stick to WWII be my guest. But why would you go WWII>modern>WWII. It just seems wrong.. |

I'm not saying I want it to be in WW2, but at least it's not Germans all over again. I want Modern too, I wouldn't mind a Nam game also.

i didnt mind cod3 too much, yes cod2 was better but cod3 was still a good game. i would like a vietnam version or another war, 2 WW2 games is probably enough unless you are playing as the germans. the best thing about cod4 was the weapons, there was something so satisifying about sniping in COD4 that wasnt in the others, the more realistic deaths and noise of the rifle. i cant wait for 5
