going to preorder my copy of GRID tomorrow.Game looks sick.I loved dirt so i hope this isnt a dissapointment.Anyone have any good ideas on where to preorder i was thinking gamestop.

Prolly Gamestop since they push preorders like meth. I loved how dood tried to convice me that I NEEDED to preorder Ninja Gaiden. Not even my kind of game.
Anyway, downloaded this last night after I wore Niko out with all the hookers I treated him too. Haven't tried it yet but someone please tell me that it's better than Forza 2. I had high hopes for it but it turned out to be a disappointment for me. Huge fan of the Gran Turismo franchise but Forza 2 just didn't do it for me (against GT4). I think it was the input/reaction just didn't feel right. Wasn't as robust as my favorite, GT4.
So what do you guys think of GRID so far?

Well, its made by the same developers, Codemasters and GRiD and DiRT do share similarities. The menus have the same 3D look and are brilliantly polished. The game also uses an enhanced version of the engine used for dirt, the Neon engine.

I'd say from the looks of it(havent played the demo yet) but i'd say its more like PGR.You don't have to be a pro at racing to play it like forza but its not as easy as NFS.I just went to gamestop and preordered it today.I also ordered Battlefield and Gears of war 2 LE.He insisted on me ordering it now because it'll sell out way before it comes out so i did.Not that i believed him which i know it will but i could of waited a couple months.

Why not? Curious of everyone's opinions since I am really picky when it comes to racing games. It's the only genre now that I worry about most and will research it as much as possible. I still have a while before I can go home and try it out for myself. |
