i don't usually go for the collectors editions, mainly cuz they are normally full of crap that doesn't interest me.

but this, even tho i aint a lakers fan.....i would get it......but i can't see us getting this in the u.k and importing it is out of the question because the box is just gonna be stupidly big

yeah $99 is a tad expensive.

i think i'd wait a month or two and then it'll drop to a normal price like most special editions do.

I think it'll sell very well tho with the lakers winning the championship, their fans will be all over this.

^ Yes definitely. If I was a full-grown adult with my own job and support myself then I might buy this. But my parents aren't in the best of financial situations right now so I can't justify spending this much money on an annual sports game no matter how much I will play it.

for me i never pay full price for the american games (nhl, nba, nfl, baseball) i always wait till they come down in price.

i'll be checking the bargain deal sites for this early next year i reckon (listed as an october release date for us...not sure about the u.s)

That's awesome. I don't think $99 is too much. That's only about £50 odd.

And the Ltd etd versions of other games have been the same price, with half the stuff.
Like Street fighter 4, Fallout 3 etc.
I wouldn't mind a games rack that looked like a locker. I've never seen one on sale...

but like i said i doubt we'll get the special edition here, it'll no doubt just be gamestop or whatever its called that gets it.

play.com just has the game listed at the moment for £29.99

I'll check nearer the time on the site i import my games from sometimes and see if its on there.
