Just because you have a high post count, or are on often, that doesnt make you 'mod-material'.

A mod is like a role-model to the community. He/she has quality posts and enforces the rules by sticking to the rules himself. Having a high post count doesnt mean that the posts were of a general good quality.

You dont apply to be a mod, and requests to be one are often refused or ignored. When the administrators, and current mod team, decide they need another mod, or decide that a certain person has the qualities to become a moderator, that person is asked directly if they would like to take on the role on a trial basis. Its usually (well it was) a decision taken by the entire team as to whether another mod is required, and who fits the bill.

Masta came off for pretty much the same reasons you did ifti. But mike said both viper & masta can come back any time they want.
I have read a load of old mod threads & as far as i am aware i think there are only 2 mods that were ever taken off. The rest have asked to be taken off themselves.

And, as for Andrew. The day he becomes a mod, is the day Clinton gets the presidency, he posted his dick all over the site, got perma banned, and came back numerous times, spamming with pics of his small pecker.
