I think you would be a great admin. As you said, he is very busy, so the extra admin would be wonderful. As long as a backup of the site was sent to him on a daily basis, he could easily maintain the main control of the site. I don't know how forums exactly work, but maybe its possible to have a middle range admin that can do changes but also be banned by the main admin if he loses control.

Ah ok. But really that's not much different to how it is now since it would end up all mods dealing with whatever they came across regardless of what forum it was in.
Thank you And yes, it would be possible to have a 'back-up' admin. This role basically means you can create/delete forums etc but you don't have FTP access so you can't delete the whole forums and such. Safer, but not a place you should give out lightly.

Any of the current mods would/should be trusted for that role though welsh.

Thanks for the feedback Rav3n.
The point of this feedback forum (to me) is exactly what is being discussed right now. I'm not afraid to hear good or bad feedback about how we're running things and how we can improve.
And you're right. A lot of stuff doesn't get implemented... but neither did most suggestions that were left in my high school's cafeteria feedback box (they still kept served nasty food day after day ).
I also agree that up to this point a lot of the moderating we do has been 'hands off'. Unless there was a clear incident of spam, advertising, racism, etc... the mods (and myself) usually let things go.
But that will be changing. We're getting new members every day and it's time to start running this place with more adherance to the rules to help it grow.
BTW, to whoever asked, this forum is not for sale, eventhough I've gotten offers. There's so much potential and growth that I'm looking forward to that I wouldn't consider selling.

the forum has some organizational problems. before the 360 launch and a couple months after, everything seemed to be running so smoothly. and now its just a mess IMO, and needs to be sorted out. a lot of people have either left or are becoming less frequent (myself included) on the forum because it seems that a LOT of noobs are asking the same retarded questions and the search feature is not being utilized hardly at ALL. i think the mods should step in to the stupid question threads that have been asked 57 times before and tell them to use the search feature and then close the threads. this would keep the crap out and the good info threads in. it sounds a bit harsh i know, but honestly should we all have to put up with that every day? no

There are places for improvements.
jophassa, we'll be adding mods as we need them... and that's how it's always been.

yah but its not the mods fault that noobs dont follow the rules the right way. and if the mods close/delete the thread, then whats to say they won't see "Use the search feature" and create another thread? lol, stupid noobs i know but I think the lack of each game section is killing the forums, if I had a specific oblivion forum like "chit chat'' or "introduce yourself" etc, I could go straight there, scroll around and I'm sure the chances are better of finding the solution to my problems then searching EVERYWHERE! I think that causes a big lack of problems. Now omar, if your not going to create this section at least let us know so we can stop suggesting this over, and over, and over again. We all know you run the site an all. So if you say "NO" then at least we wont waste our time typing this over....and over....ahh well you get the picture
