The need for new Admins, Moderators, or the Erasure of Feedback forum
I've been reading feedback for some time now, and I've noticed that a lot of the suggestions are lefit and could be easily implimented if tried to. I have an understanding that Omar is the only admin, so the work of physically modifying the forum rests solely on his his hands. I'm sure, or at least would like to believe, that Omar agrees with certain suggestions on the forums and would like to see them done. Because of Omar posting absense, it is my belief that Omar does not have the time to do this. I suggest that within the mods someone should be "upgraded" to admin to assist with those duties. After a thread is made, there should be a poll in each thread to see the consensus on the idea (many people don't comment but agree/disagree), and then the admin(s) and mod(s) should have a vote on this and get it done or not; they should also inform the thread if it will be done or not so it doesn't get discussed again.
In addition, Although I believe the mods are doing a splendid job, there should be more mods. Each mod should be assigned a certain section of the forum (for example community center) and focus on keeping that clean instad of trying to do everything at once. I think there are good people here who deserve mod. I personally believe that both Brian and Jophassa would step up to the job perfectly and act maturely about it. The report button is nice, but I doubt there are that many people who care to press it.
If none of these demands are met (yes this is a hostage situation people :-P), I think the feedback/suggestion forum should be close since it never gets any answers at all; it just creates extra work for moderators.

I kinda doubt another admin would be added, and you'd be suprised how many people report things. Most of my e-mails are reports from here.

I think you are not really addressing Raven's points.
It seems that there is an increasing number of concerns about various aspects of this forum.
You must realize that if you took some time to rearrange some things here that:
1) There would be a lot less confusion and duplicate threads. People could come and actually find what they are looking for.
2) A lot less flaming (see above)
3) Your job as a mod would become significantly easier, because face it... There would be less to be worried about.

Yeah, I agree, I feel neglected in omars not so unusual abscence, it seems none of the better ideas even get looked at. But I like the forums the way they are cept for the repeating threads....but then again it could be worse.

I get around 20 reported post emails a day. It is used a lot. I don't like the idea of mods for seperate sections as it would be annoying for me to say, see some spam in Chit-Chat, yet because I only moderate the 360 section I can't handle it.
As for the need of another admin I'm not sure. I think it would be quite a good idea for things to be done quicker, but at the end of the day Omar generally does things he wants quickly so maybe these things just aren't a good idea to him. Plus I can't really think of any member who would make a good admin (keep in mind that an admin can basically change the forum in any way).
If Omar did look for a new admin I'd throw my name into the hat since I've been admins at other forums, but honestly I don't think another is needed. It would need to be someone he trusted immensely since big changes could occur without his permission.
I don't know how old Omar is, but I'm guessing he's at least in college or (more likely) working fulltime so he can't be on the forum 24/7 unlike some of us younger members who don't have as many ties in life. I've been to forums that are awfully moderated and controlled by admin, this one really isn't bad at all. Very good in that department infact.

/\ I agree too, to an extent, just imagine if the people who come to this site, join up, and post like some of us...it'd be insane. Everyday i come on here and it says like 30 guests on. They must not like something, our community could possibly grow with the suggestions of our dedicated members.

Yeah most of us know that. But still some changes would not hurt, and you cannot say that you are 100% happy with these boards..

My point is that someone has to buy half of this site from Omar to be admin.
