Update Marketplace Rules

Ok, so I just got a thread nuked for containing a link to my eBay account. Which even though I think that should be allowed for feedback purposes is fine. I always strive to follow rules but I can't really do that when I don't know about it. The mod who nuked it said it's an un-written rule and that the admins just need to update the thread so please do that. I wouldn't have included the link had I known and since I hadn't been here in awhile I did re-read the rules thread but since it's not updated there was no way for me to know. The thread not being updated caused me to have to redo my thread and the mod and I had a heated argument where as all that could have been avoided.

Ok just got another thread nuked for an un-written rule! This is horse shit. All I'm trying to do is offer pre-orders to the people here because I can get them along the exclusive free gifts. It helps out people here and myself as well. WHAT THE FUCK is the problem here? I'm getting very frustrated. I handle all this stuff myself include shipping how this advertising for a business?!

Whatever I'm done, you guys can live with your invisible rules. I'll complete my current open transactions with the people here and by on my way.

It's not an invisible rule mate, everyone knows your not allowed to post links to other sites to advertise something.

Stick it in your sig and be done.

Ok, first off, I don't know what "everybody" knows here. I haven't been here in awhile and since I didn't know, that isn't everybody knows is it? Second off, the first thread, I can see the argument with advertising for an outside business. I don't agree with it but I can see the point there. The second thread? I mentioned I worked for Blockbuster and that's how I get the pre-orders. That's it....I didn't say GO TO BLOCKBUSTER AND PRE-ORDER these games. So let me ask you this, can I make a thread for pre-orders and not mention where I work and be fine? Seems like a technicality and one that you could easly edit instead of making me redo the threads a hundred times for invisible rules (if they aren't listed they are invisible rules). And let me get this straight, I can't even make a thread advertising say a sale at Target but I can advertise anything I want in my sig? How does that make sense? If I were to say advertise in a thread, that's one spot on the forum. In the sig it's in every post I make.

Anyway that's my point, it's been made. So before I conduct anymore business in the marketplace, what are the actual rules that "everybody" knows but arn't listed in the thread?
