Nat Status OPEN

Any help (an idiots guide) on how to do this would be much appreciated.

It is normally OPEN on my xbox, but for some reason it is reading 'STRICT' and it is not enabling me to get a game with anyone online.

It definitely has to do with your router. Maybe it's buggin out. You can try manually port-forwarding so you can play live. Here's some useful links here and here.

Your lucky you have had open ive always had strict and never been able to sort it

you're going to need to setup port forwarding in your router to allow the proper information to flow to and from your xbox. to do this go here - Port Forward.com Routers - pick your router, pick xbox live 360, and follow the steps exactly.

Before you setup port forwarding, you'll need to manually input the IP settings (that are in the same range as your router) on your XBox. I'd be happy to help you out with this if you want to PM me, otherwise check out this thread - Open NAT
