USB Keyboard

Hey, I was just wonderin with this new spring update that came out this morning, they added complete USB keyboard support. I was pretty psyched about it, mainly because I hate having to use the stick to select letters. but anyway is there a key map for it? I mean if you plan on using a keyboard for more than just text entry is there a mapping for what keys act as the keys on the controller? Haven't messed with it much, but i couldn't find anything online about it. thanks...

I meant moving from character to character, for instance to type this msg would have takin ten minutes of moving the focus around the screen.

I was mainly inquiring as to whether MS added anything besides Esc for Cancel and Enter for OK. From what I can tell ESC is B and Enter is A... but other than that I haven't found anything else.

i just plug my mac keyboard in. but i usually use my mic. much esier ( i can't remember how to spell that word!)

no i thought the update for total keybaord control allowed you to play games

with the keyboard???? that would be awesome. someone should try it and see if it works. i don't think it does though

No, it doesn't. They've added total keyboard support for things like messages and stuff. I had a USB keyboard that didn't work, and now it does. The old keyboard support was a very limited set of drivers, so not all keyboards worked.

And getting a keyboard to work in-game is up to the game developers to code. The new support allows it, but no games have been released with the support yet.

I used the keyboard on it before but things like the arrows and enter and escape didnt do anything. As far as I can tell all they've added is support for more keyboards, arrow keys, ESC and Enter. I was asking if anyone knew if there were any other things they added. Like say hotkeys to specific areas of the dash or something. Like F1 goes to the marketplace or something. That's what I was asking. not whether or not you could use one. I already knew that.
