First 360 still and I have no problems. As long as you aren't playing in a room that is 90 degrees, no one should have any problems with overheating and therefore, won't need to mod their stupid ass fans.

I heard someone put all their 360 bits (mobo etc) into a clear atx case with better fans on the heat sinks and more airflow around, and he said that it ran A LOT better with no glitches at all.

the problem with the 360 is there is no fan on the processor heatsink.
a damn stupid idea by microsoft. you would never see a cooling setup like that in a pc, it just would not be good enough. what the 360 needs is a fan on the processor heatsink. so i put a 60mm fan on the heatsink to blow cool air strait onto the heatsink thus cooling the processor better. take a look at my picture of my mod...

Actually, Dell ships out their PC's with no fan directly on the heatsink. Alteast on the Precision Workstations. Kinda weird if you ask me.

But, yeah, stupid idea not to put it on there. I would gladly give up a little quiet for a cooler system.

I must live 1000 miles in the sky then, because I have not had a single problem with my 360.

that dell pc is not for gamming is it ya noob. if it was then it would not be able to run games like half life 2,doom 3 and so on. it would get to hot to quick & would not be able to cool the processor quick enough. Hence fan must be directly on the heatsink.

I meant the 360 but if you have it ducted well enough it'll still keep reasonable airflow around the heat sink.
