Save games and memory sticks

Hi there,

I've been borrowing a mates 360, and am getting my own this week. I've already put in about 50 hours of work into Oblivion and would like to transfer my save from one to the other.

Is there a way to do this without gong out and paying £20 for an official memory card? Can I use a standard USB memory stick, or transfer files to PC using an ethernet cable or something?

i think you might be able to copy a profile from one 360 to another through an ethernet cable if you are getting a harddrive with your 360.

but i'm not 100% sure

Well, it's likely the only time I'd use a memory card, so spending £20 to transfer 1 save game seems a bit excessive, and I don't know anyone I can borrow one from.
