VGA Cable Sound
I got my VGA cable today. I hooked it up and the picture is fine, question is how do I hook up the sound portion of the cable so that I can get sound through my computer speakers?

r u serious theres red and white cables with the vga cables those r sound and if ur monitor was a jack use the adapter that came with the cables

No shit there are red and white ends smart guy, my monitor ain't got no red and white plugs and the cables did not come with a adapter.

You knob, elementskater. Who needs the official cable? I paid half price for the madcatz one and it runs on my 32" LCD HDTV perfectly. Don't try to bag out newer people than you when you're a noob yourself!
m88ow: Go to an electronics store and get a stereo RCA female to headphone jack adapter and you'll be fine. Searching the forums would have told you this dozens of times.

How old are 12, quit acting like a a douchebag little boy. I got it from a friend and yes it is the offical cable, you ever heard of getting something used and it might not have everything that originally came with it? All you had to say is you need a adapter for the cable to plug into your monitor. But even then that would not answer my question since if you read the original post it said I want it playing through my computer speakers not my monitor, now who is stupid?

I think he knows you mean computer Speakers as there is NOWAY sound can come through a monitor haha, Ive got the VGA cable and i have my Red N white cables plugged into my stereo sounds ACE  , do you have a stereo you could plug it into m88tow??
