xbox 360 larger hard drive
if this is realy noobish then sorry but as shown and explained on the link below, the 3.5" hard drive inside the 360 enclosure is just a standard SATA ATA conection so my question is, can we just remove the tiny 20gb one and replace it with a larger one or will the firmware reject it or something, any help will be greatly appreciated.
i have a hdd on the way in the post that i am going to try it on but i thought i get a little background info first.

its not possible YET but it will be SOON. the 360 will limit it at only 20gb. even if you put in a 200gb you will only have access to 20gb of it. heres a link that will tell you more. read the comments too.

Why would you want a 200gig in a thing like an xbox lmao.
Besides 20gig is more than enough for god sake remove all your
demos you don't have to spare everyone that you dloaded since launch.

P.S your making it sound like if it was a computer which it is
but not a PC so upgrading and changing the console hardware = ...:!

No I mean Serial ATA and things such as ATA133,100,66...

Speaking on topic being able to swap in an 80GB 7200RPM drive would be very nice... I'd do it especially since it wouldn't cost a whole heck of a lot
